The Adult Learning Program at English High Community Center offers English as a second language (ESL), adult basic education (to help adults with reading, writing, and math at basic level), G.E.D. preparation classes, extended diploma program (for people who would like to earn a High School diploma from the City of Boston), and citizenship classes (to help non-citizen permanent residents prepare for citizenship interview).  

We offer a variety of classes:  evening, mornings, and also on Saturdays.

Volunteer tutor opportunities are also offered by the Adult Learning Program.  Tutors form the community assist small groups or individual students with their study of English, reading, writing and/or math.
